Maternity BVM Church
CELEBRATES 100 YEARS!
A MESSAGE FROM OUR PASTOR:
Greetings as I pray blessing upon you and your loved ones throughout 2010! If you drive down North Ave. past our church and
school you may notice the dozen banners proclaiming: Maternity BVM Church Centennial …. 100 Years of Blessings to the
Community.
On the 20th. of November Cardinal Frances George will celebrate our closing mass. In the meanwhile we will have monthly
events, especially our banquet on March 20. Please see link below to find information on purchasing tickets for the banquet. We
will alo be producing an ad book. To purchase an ad, please contact the rectory: 773-772-9401. If you know any alumni from
our church or school, spread the good news.
If you would like to take an ad or come to the banquet, confer the invitation and ad book registration sheets attached. We
humbly need and love our advocates and benefactors.
We thank our blessed mother, Mary, for her patronage during this century of the Lord’s blessings upon our parish and school
and the greater community of west Humboldt Park. Mary always leads us to her Son, Christ Jesus, our Savior and Lord!
Sincerely,
Fr. Tom Pelton, pastor
